about

"Twisted Despairs" is the mechanically enraged ultra-futuristic twin-brother of "Twisted Repairs" - a premonitional and essaystic approach to forsee electronic music from the distant future of around 2040 and beyond. You find the lead-album on Bandcamp over here: served.bandcamp.com/album/twisted-repairs

[INFO: When you download the album there are NO GAPs between the tracks. This album is seamless. The gaps are only on Bandcamps faulty online-stream!]

Bob Humid's double-debut album-release "Twisted Repairs" draws a sharp line between the musical styles of labels such as Rephlex and Certificate 18. It features elements of Drum'n'Bass, Techstep, IDM and a tight vocal production. It also features very sophisticated beat-programming and a unique editing where every sound has a meaningful feel to it. Bob Humid has an obvious obsession for Funk within 4/4th metrics and a digital production philosophy that he claims to be influenced by Rupert Hine in his early 80ies phase. While Twisted Repairs has been originally distributed worldwide by Groove Attack it has been solely promoted in Germany where it has been highly acclaimed by the local music press.

"Toughes Album! / (NICHOLAS HOEPPNER, Groove Magazine)

„... Programmierung 1a! ...“
(ATOMHEART, Uwe Schmidt, Chile)

„I really like your cd alot . so do my friends , i played it on a radio show tonite in new york ..“
(DATACH´I, N.Y.)

(ROBERT FEUCHTL)
